PSN Update: PSN Online in US but not UK

The PSN Update 3.61 has been released, and the PSN is back online in certain regions. The US is back to normal, albeit slightly slow. However PSN is still down in UK and other parts of Europe. We are still unsure as to when the Playstation Network will be back up in these regions. Many US gamer’s will be heading straight onto PSN as soon as they can. It has been a long wait.

The new PSN 3.61 update is mandatory when you first sign in to PSN. However a number of people have said they have been unable to initiate the update, and as a result unable to login to PSN.

Are you having problems with the PSN Update?

It seems that Playstation are moving in the right direction. Hopefully everything will be back up and running normally within the next couple of weeks. This is fantastic news for PS3 users who have been unable to play online for the last couple of weeks. This has been a public relations disaster for Sony, and they will be doing everything in their power to get things running smoothly as soon as possible.

UK i’m able to update to the latest firmware,use the internet(not sure if i could do this before didn’t even try) but am unable to log in as yet.

i updated at 1.30 am this morring took ages to get it as keeped getting errors but finaly got it but still no psn or change passed word here in uk keeps saying maintaians

its not back in buckinghamshire which is where i live in the UK i’ve downloaded the update which took a few tries but worked eventually, now when i try to sign in to change my password it still come up with the maintanance message

Its not back in northern ireland although i got the update. I think they are having problems signing in because you have to sign in on the ps3 that the account was created otherwise you have to use an authenticated email

No its not back up in slough as of yet, i have updated it an now just waiting

It took me a few tries to download 3.61, was hoping to have sunday relaxing on Black ops, it didnt tell me to change password and when i try and sign in it still says under maintenance. So what did the update do? Did it just make ps3 more secure for the user? Anyway glad to see psn almost certain to be up in the uk by june. Hopefully ps store wont crash with people spamming downloads with the free ps plus. Still sticking with sony though. =].

psn still not on liverpool apparentlly though it should be up and running again in the uk by this evening (hopefully). I downloaded the update with no problems but still unable to change password. lets just hope it is back on some time today .

They are onto europe now so should be up by soon but depends what order they do europe in
